Niger, Officially called The Republic of Niger, Largest landlocked country in West Africa and second in Africa. This nation share border with 7 country, Chad belong to East, Nigeria is at South, Benin and Burkina Faso is at South West, Mali is at West, Algeria at North West and Libya at North. It covers land area near about 489,191 sq mi. around more than 90% population follow religion Muslim, remains 10% Christianity, animism. Near About 80% land area belong to Sahara. Capital of this state is Niamey located at south-west corner.

Unitary State
Niger is a Unitary State, here central has all power to take any decision and sub division or sub region is under it's control. Central can enact or abolish any law, sub region must follow this. At present this nation is under military rule after military coup.
Largest Landlocked Country
This nation surrounded by seven country and largest landlocked state in West Africa. Chad, Nigeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Algeria and Libya are neighbor state. Niger's most of land occupied by Sahara Desert, despite more people dependent on agriculture, this is the main source of income. Being a landlocked country it's easy to export surplus food to neighbor nation. It helps to economy.
Religion
Muslim is dominant religion in this country, about 99% of population is Muslim, majority is Sunni. Rest follows Christianity, it came during French colonial era, and Animism came through the people who are living in forest since ancient time believing spirituality in every living being.
People of Niger
The People of Niger are different on the basis of their Language, Culture, Ethnicity. According to Worldometer's elaboration of the latest United Nations Data, the current population of Niger is 27,753,295 as of Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Hausa, Zarma-Songhai, Taureg, Fulani, Kanuri are the local people of this country, they are mostly belong to Muslim, each community has own language but most of population speak Hausa language, this is first official language and French is second official language. They depends on animal husbandry, farming, trade to continue their livelihood.
Capital
Niamey is the largest city and capital of this sate. It is located southwest corner of this nation, and near at Niger River. Weather is hot, during may and june it is also rainy season. Being a capital city people living here get more opportunity as compare to other region. Here most people belong to architecture, business, craft, less are interested in agriculture. Attractive place is Niger National Museum, also the Mahatma Gandhi International Conference Center (MGICC) was established in Niamey together with India and Niger.
On the basis of above discussion, we can say Niger is underdeveloped country, it has huge poverty, low per capita, source of income is very limited and life of people is miserable.
As per my opinion to overcome from this situation, First set a Goal, then create plane, and execute the process. This is the formula need to use to achieve the Goal. Now the question is what kind of Goal need to set? The answer is 1. Create the Income Source 2. Improve the Education system 3. Flexible Transportation 4. Encourage the young generation to start their own startup 4. Spend less that what you earn.
